The Old Apple Shed is a lovingly converted old orchard shed that once stored apples and cherries on this peaceful site when it served as a working orchard farm. Today this cosy abode is kitted out with all the comforts to make it a cosy glamping abode, done up with reclaimed materials to have a minimal impact on the environment around. The exterior gives off a rustic vibe with its asymmetrical roof, while the inside is surprisingly spacious. An inviting double-bed paired with en-suite amenities are a world away from standing in line for the loo at more commercial parks and feature the delights of an electric shower with lashings of hot water. The roomy living space holds a comfortable sofa, ideal for piling on and playing board games or watching a movie when the weather refuses to acknowledge you’re on holiday. A well-stocked kitchen area with a casual dining space is enhanced with quirky apple crates that function as cabinets and a homemade chandelier made with empty glass bottles. A quick look around the abode reflects the love and attention poured into this lovely shed, and it’s no surprise that this site is the perfect spot for low-key glampers. Dogs are not allowed: however, feel free to borrow owner Kate’s dog for walkies through the woods.
