The 5-star awarded park rests in the picturesque and peaceful Waveney Valley, with spectacular vistas across the sprawling Norfolk & Suffolk marshes, brimming with wildlife and plenty of open-air adventures to fill a day or more. The Broads is another splendid spot to uncover, boasting enchanting navigable waterways, many of which are only accessible by boat. The area brims with an abundance of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for Britain’s largest butterfly, the swallowtail, harvest mice, water shrews, sedge warblers, and protected flora like the fen orchid. Waveney River Centre is a beautiful base for families, couples and groups who want a relaxing holiday comprising spacious camping or glamping abodes, an array of helpful facilities, and miles upon miles of open green space for relaxing and exploring. The compact touring and camping area has room for 14 caravans and 25 tents. There are yurts, glamping pods, holiday lodges, cottages and penthouses for guests who are too posh to park up or pitch. Several lodges also feature a private hot tub, which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views with a glass of bubbly in hand. Pets are most welcome.
