Clippesby Hall is a camping and glamping haven tucked away in the stunning Norfolk Broads site, resting an ideal mile from the gleaming river at Thurne. This award-winning site combines excellent facilities with a tranquil, relaxing family atmosphere in a beautiful camping location, making it an ideal base for quiet escapes from modern life. The campsite rests on the beautifully maintained grounds of John Lindsay’s family manor house, forming its canvas village. Despite the large camping area equipped with 115 plots ideally suited for tents and touring vehicles, Clippersby managed to achieve the near-impossible- making a lovely large campsite feel snug, uncrowded and non-commercial. Facilities are extensive, including two grassed tennis courts, a football pitch, archery courses, mini-golf, and two roomy children’s play areas, including a BeWILDerwood-Esque adventure playground to tucker the boisterous nippers out before bedtime. There is a treehouse in the woods, a games room, bike hire, a cycle trail and even an on-site pub for fuelling up before an adventure or much needed post-exertion drinks. Glampers can look into hiring out a range of abodes, be it holiday cottages, pine lodges or a stay in the Clocktower Apartments. Fishing and horse riding are available within a five-mile radius, and the delights of the beach are just 10-miles away. Pets welcome.
