Wildlife lovers are in a lush haven that sees frequent visits from the swooping kingfishers, curious squirrels, sociable moorhens, swooping barn owls and timid deer. The area is also home to an established Silver Studded Blue Butterfly colony, so keep your eyes peeled for sightings of these fascinating creatures. The surrounding vistas of the lake and wildlife are truly spectacular, with plenty of lovely gentle walks for guests of all ages. Guests can pitch or park up on roomy grass plots with optional electric hook-ups and make this beautiful area a home away from home for short and extended holidays. Facilities are limited to the essentials, including a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water points, plus an on-site shop stocking camping essentials. Holidaymakers who are too posh to pitch can stay in the swish holiday caravans nestled among the grass and trees, with views over the two fishing lakes, brimming with carp, tench, roach, and rudd.
