Cotswolds Camping and Caravanning is a friendly yet straightforward campsite, nestled amid the delicious honey-coloured villages and gothic spires of both the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. The site operates under new owners, Keith and Nicole Dighton, who take great pride in running a well-organized, relaxing space for tents, touring vehicles, and newly added glamping experiences. Campers can soak in the beautiful and serene settings across the Evenlode Valley while enjoying quick access to the amenities in the pretty town of Charlbury, which rests within easy reach of the campsite. There is a roomy main camping field flanked by pine trees for shade, seclusion and unwinding. Scenic countryside walks across the romantic, open country are available as soon as you step outside the gate at the back. It’s well worth noting that most pitches are grass, making Cotswold Camping a more appealing site to traditional tent campers. There are a handful of hardstanding pitches and the option of electricity if required. Facilities, though basic, are clean and entirely sufficient for your stay and include toilets, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water access, chemical disposal, and disabled-friendly features. There is a bar, restaurant and a shop a mere mile from the base. Pets are most welcome to stay with their well-behaved owners.
