Acorns Campsite is a small campsite nestled within 12-acres of peaceful and wildlife-filled woodland, set on the northern fringes of the Angmering village in the picturesque Hamlet of Hammerpot. Guests can enjoy an array of open-air pursuits and jaw-dropping scenery from an enviable location at the foot of the stunning South Downs National Park, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set up camp on a gently sloping field and soak in the sights and sounds of the beautiful South Downs countryside, uncovering its hidden gems, wildlife and attractions at a pace of choice. The site has 16 amp electric hookups and non-electric pitches for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Levelling blocks are recommended for caravans and motorhomes, and there is a minimum stay of two nights when booking. Basic yet clean and updated amenities include the standard toilet blocks, hot showers, a pot washing area with free hot water, drinking water points, chemical disposal, and disabled-friendly features. The village of Angmering, with several shops, pubs, and restaurants, rests a short stroll away, and a handy local bus route stops an easy 5-minute walk from the campsite. Use the site as your base for exploring locations like Arundel, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and surrounding areas, or rumble off to the coastline for sun, sea and sand. Pets are welcome.
