Elm Farm is a tranquil Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site located beside some of Cornwall's most popular cycling routes. The farm enjoys an excellent location near the Mineral Tramways cycle network makes it more than a campsite and cycle centre. A cute, friendly café next to the peaceful camping meadows ensures nourishment for the active cyclists, who enjoy pedalling alongside the nearby beach, just 2-miles away. Spend your days pottering around the coastal towns and gloriously sandy beaches of Porthtowan and Portreath, or opt to kick back with your shades on and a cold drink of choice in hand as you watch the world go by and listen to the soft trills of birdsong. The green landscape extends in every direction, and scattered trees and shrubs offer a sense of privacy from the outside world. The two camping meadows offer off-grid camping options and remain untamed primarily to encourage local wildlife. Keep an eye out for buzzards, barn owls, and stoats foraging in under the mighty oak trees that border the farm and give the campsite its name. The owners have only added 25 pitches to ensure a more intimate camping feel, complete with oodles of space for the nippers to play ball games or fly kites. Glampers, campers, tourers and dogs are all welcome.
