Boveys Down Farm

Blend your passion for the great outdoors with plenty of delicious food at Bovey's Down Farm. This peaceful, rural site rests on a working beef farm, a 10-minute drive from the market town of Honiton. Settle in for glorious feasts from the farmhouse kitchen and bask in the sunshine as you settle in for alfresco nibbles under the golden summer sun. There's plenty to suit all palates, be it homemade lunches, friendly farm animals, and the opportunity to trade countryside for the coast in 15-minutes or less. Delectable delights like traditional pastries, homemade burgers, evening meals, cream teas, and drinks are available on-site. Once you're suitably nourished and hydrated, make use of your central location to explore a wealth of attractions nearby. Traipse over to the coastline with a well-stocked hamper, grab a book and spread out a blanket in a quiet corner of the farm, or treat the nippers to shows and outdoor rides at Crealy Theme Park, just 30-minutes away. Couples and groups of friends can mosey over to the Lyme Bay Winery, just 20-minutes away, and stock up wino to pair alongside your sizzling nibbles hot off the barbeque grill. Animal lovers of all ages can meet the farm critters, make friends at The Donkey Sanctuary, and greet exotic creatures at the Axe Valley Wildlife Park. End your day around the campfire as you stretch out on an electric or non-electric grass pitch. Dogs are welcome.
