Hideaway Camping is a family-friendly site set a smooth half-hour from the outskirts of the scenic Dartmoor National Park and a mere fifteen-minute drive from the nearby town of Okehampton. Come on by and enjoy carefree camping and glamping in Devon's lush countryside and enjoy spacious, nature-friendly settings thoughtfully created by the welcoming site owners. They left London's hubbub behind for the slower, more peaceful scenes of the countryside in 2013. The twenty-four-acre campsite rests on the end of a private track and provides guests with a taste of freedom from the complexities of modern life. The varied wilderness settings paired with the owners' creative ideas make Hideaway the perfect base for anyone looking to escape into nature. Towering mature trees provide shelter and seclusion while meandering nature trails cut across the scented forest and alongside the gleaming pond, creating a serene, wild ambience perfect for an escape from the daily grind. Pitch a tent in the flat camping meadow and enjoy heaps of space for the tykes to run about while parents stretch out and soak in the laid-back atmosphere. The covered cabin holds an array of well-maintained amenities like a shared kitchen, showers, and loos. Books, board games and the like are available for days the weather refuses to acknowledge you're on holiday. Barbeques and campfires are encouraged. Pets most welcome.
