The site is primarily grass, providing kids with plenty of space to run around and explore the forest. Explore the area on waymarked tracks and footpaths, or take a viewsome ride along the National Cycle Route from Holmsley Walk car park into the stunning, busy village of Brockenhurst, right at the heart of the peaceful New Forest. There are lovely rural villages like Burley and Bransgore, plus easy access to the town of Bournemouth, the coastline and pristine beaches. Barbeques are encouraged, and pets are welcome. The owners ask that guests refrain from feeding the ponies and wild animals due to their unpredictable nature.
