Frome Meadow Campsite

Frome Meadow Campsite

Located: Campsites in Dorchester, Dorset

Frome Meadow Campsite is a quiet and friendly site surrounded by lush greenery and the shimmering River Foam that borders part of this splendid campsite. This is an excellent base for guests who enjoy the thrills of the open air, be it sizzling barbeques, crackling campfires, heaps of open green spaces and lovely spots for spreading out a blanket and nibbling on snacks from a well-stocked hamper. If we have you nodding in agreement, or smiling at the thought of nodding off in such serene settings, pack your bags and make your way over to this beautiful camping spot. This peaceful site rests on a working dairy farm, a mere 15-minute stroll from Moreton. Enjoy the open green space of five spacious acres for playing, stretching out, and savouring the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding heath and woodland. There are miles of viewsome bridleways for the horse riders and easy access to the placid River Foam for guests to plunge into the refreshing waters or paddle around on warm summer days. These open-air escapades are best concluded with alfresco sizzles and sing-alongs around the campfire, so go ahead and tune that guitar. Dogs are most welcome to tag along.
