The welcoming campsite lies nestled in the heart of Dorchester, providing guests with the freedom to mingle with alpacas and other creatures while pitching or parking up in scenic settings. Alpacas are found in abundance at this peaceful, eco-friendly site, allowing guests the freedom to book a meet or walk with a herd of these gentle woolly beasts. The site rests amid swathes of greenery, with striking views over the emerald rolling fields towards the towering Hardy Monument in the distance. Campers are welcome to use the handily positioned site as a base for sightseeing of all sorts, be it days in Dorchester located fifteen minutes away, or explores in Bridport and Weymouth, set ten and twenty-five minutes respectively from the campsite. The young ones will love the chance to interact with the alpacas at the base, so sign the eager beavers up for a meet and greet, alpaca walks or even indulge in an alpaca-tastic birthday party with your nearest and dearest. If the woolly creatures have captured your heart, look into alpaca adoptions raging from bronze to the platinum package. Happyard is an off-grid site, and guests must remember to stock up on drinking water for their stay. There are no showers, but there is a portaloo and a standard toilet. Spark up a masterpiece on the grill and spend your evenings gazing up at the twinkling night sky. Pets are welcome.
