If there’s one thing that static holiday homeowners and renters love, it’s the excellent hospitality provided by the welcoming Eaton family, who are on a first-name basis with all 150 caravan owners on-site. The friendly family continue to offer a delightfully peaceful, well-maintained and conveniently positioned space for guests who want to escape the buzz of the modern world for easy access to a lovely beach (20-minutes) and the lively coastal town of Lyme Regis (10-minutes away). The owners came to a quick realization that they did not want the commercial letting of caravans, and privately-owned abodes are strictly for the owner, their friends, and family. Three of the 153 statics are open for hire, with each lodging offering double glazing, central heating, plus tables and chairs. Roma and Timberline boast private gardens, while Pathfinder rests in a semi-enclosed garden. Unlike the more commercial parks in the area, Timber Vale Caravan Park does not offer the use of a pool, evening entertainment, or bars. There is a well-equipped children’s play area, a hard tennis court, a laundry room, a dog exercising area, and morning deliveries of your preferred newspaper. Several handy taxi firms are within easy reach, and a bus heading to Lyme stops right outside the gates.
