Knaveswell Farm

Knaveswell Farm

Located: Campsites in Wareham, Dorset

Knaveswell Farm is a quiet campsite nestled on lovely Dorset Farm set at the base of the elongated Nine Barrow Down and settle in for a peaceful back to basics escape, a mere 15-minute drive from the beaches in Swanage and Studland. Hop on your bike and cycle through the lush landscape or don your walking boots to explore the area on foot, and take along a well-stocked hamper for when you come across a delightful picnic spot with views towards the ocean. If you're more inclined to recline with a cold one, Knaveswell Farm has the ideal atmosphere for getting away from it all. The owners encourage guests to pitch up in a spot of choice, so feel free to plonk down in a quiet corner facing Nine Barrow Down, or look out over Matravers, Swanage, and the shimmering ocean and feel the complexities of modern life melt into the distance. Amenities keep in line with the back-to-basics theme and offer no showers; however, campers have access to clean bathroom facilities, four cold water taps, chemical disposal, and rubbish bins. Barbeques are encouraged as long as guests are careful with them, and well-behaved canines are most welcome to tag along. From beaches to museums, there's plenty for all to explore and enjoy, so make Knaveswell Farm your home away from home.
