It’s hard to come across a cross camper at Cross Hands, a beautifully-maintained and quiet Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site hosted by Steve and Kirsty. The camping area is split into two parts, offering a designated space for the Camping and Caravanning Club members plus room for general campers. A leisurely 150-meter stroll leads to the nearest pub, which is ideal for securing those post-ramble tipples and food. A handy Thai takeaway outside on the road is suitable for sorting grub when you’re too tired or lazy to cook. Sit back and observe local wildlife, including skylarks, buzzards and kites, or head out to explore local attractions, including the Museum of Oxfordshire. Dogs are welcome.
