Shepherds Hut Camping is a small, friendly, family-run campsite tucked away on a peaceful and picturesque family farm, a mere 10-minute drive from the lively market town of Malmesbury. Set on the fringes of Cotswolds, this friendly site is an excellent base for accessing the surrounding area, including historically rich Bath and buzzing Bristol; both set a smooth 45-minute drive away. There’s plenty of space for the kids and kids at heart to stretch out their belongings and settle in for some good old fashioned outdoor fun. The owners are very laidback and encourage traditional camping fun, so look forward to flickering campfires and the tantalizing aromas of sizzling meat and produce over the barbeque grill. Should you want to dip into the outdoor festivities, stock up on seasonal lamb and fresh beef produced on the premises as you settle in for alfresco sizzles and late-night conversations around the campfire. There’s plenty of room for pedalling or walking along pretty and peaceful lanes. Guests who prefer to unwind on-site can meet the friendly animals or lounge by the gleaming fish pond. Take your pick of shepherd’s huts, bell tents, or non-electric grass pitches. Pets are most welcome to tag along.
