Lotmead Farm is a family-friendly activity farm site nestled on the fringes of Swindon in Wiltshire. Follow the beautiful nature trail on the premises to a lovely shimmering lake with speckled shade for relaxing afternoon picnics. The small animal enclosure is an excellent distraction for animal lovers of all ages, who are welcome to pet and feed the critters under staff supervision. The play area with climbing frames, swings, and slides is ideal for tiring the kids out before bed. Let the young ones (and perhaps yourself) get some insight into farm life with a visit to the daily parlour where one can watch the cows being milked each afternoon. There is a modest fee to access the play area, nature trail, small animal enclosure, and dairy parlour. Guests can also pick seasonal soft fruits and veggies, ranging from raspberries and black currents to sweet corn and potatoes. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
