Uig Bay Caravan and Campsite

Ah, what scenic surrounds to unwind and shake off the stress of modern life. Uig Bay Caravan and Campsite is the perfect campsite to pitch a tent, or set up camp in a recreational vehicle and enjoy the spectacular sceneries around. Wake up to jaw-dropping sunrises and watch as the sky changes hues from soft pinks and amber to a cloudless brilliant blue. The laid back site welcomes tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes and offers grass and hardstanding pitches with or without electric hook-ups. Uig Bay offers the usual facilities like a toilet block, hot showers, washing up area, laundry, drinking water points, and chemical disposal. The friendly owners are at hand (with their two fabulous fur babies) to give you a warm welcome and clear any niggling queries you may have. The site enjoys a convenient location near the ferry port making it an ideal base for adventures on the Outer Hebrides and a bus stop nearby ensures guests have an efficient, low-cost way to see the sights of Skye. An excellent takeout rests a short trot away from the site along the road and serves treats like pear and blue cheese pizza, fish scampi and refreshing locally brewed beers. Pets are welcome.
