Stroma View Caravan and Camping Park is a great place to soak in the views of both Pentland Firth and Stroma Island while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this family-friendly site. Ideally placed for sojourns in Orkney, the back to basics site is a warm, sunny spot to set up camp and enjoy heaps of space. The campground itself contains eight pitches for tents plus eight pitches for caravans or motorhomes. Pitching Many of the pitches come with electric hookups and the costs are included in the overall price. Hardstanding bases and fully serviced pitches are also available. The site rests in proximity to the ferry service that leaves from Gills Bay to Orkney and offers quick access to the picturesque coastal village of John O'Groats that brims with spectacular scenery, and thriving wildlife. The owners are at hand to give you a warm welcome and show you around the site. Facilities are immaculate and include a toilet block, a washing up area, chemical disposal, recycling conveniences, and drinking water points. Showers come with a wall heater, are available on request at £1.50 per person and cannot be used at night. Guests are not weighed down by tedious regulations and provide campers with plenty of freedom to kick back and soak in the views or wander into the enclosing area to explore local points of interest.
