A sheltered rural location and thriving wildlife amid viewsome surroundings make North Rhinns Camping a splendid base for spectacularly scenic escape. Despite seeming like it’s away from it all, this family-friendly site boasts a nifty location a mere 6 miles from Stranraer with easy access to nearby Cairnryan. Rocky coastlines and quiet beaches rest a short drive away, providing camping sorts with a delightful blend of coast and countryside. The camping is sheltered from the winds by a belt of whin bushes, willow trees, heather and wild scrubs, providing plenty of food and cover for migrating birds, hares, and deer. Small campervans and ten owners are welcome to set up camp and enjoy good old-fashioned outdoorsy fun with barbeques and campfires. Pets are welcome.
