Milarrochy Bay Camping and Caravanning Club Site enjoys an excellent position within Scotland’s first National Park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The site lies draped along the scenic eastern shore of the gleaming loch and affords easy access to a wealth of exciting attractions in the vicinity. Walkers are spoilt for choice and can head out on the West Highland Way footpath that winds pas the site plus a range of other trails that are perfect for all ages and abilities. Enjoy guided walks from the Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Centre, where guests can also enjoy a range of other activities like guided canoe trips and hikes. Walkers can also have their bags dropped off at the next stopping point. Head out for quiet walks in Balloch Castle Country Park, or head over to the Falkirk Wheel which is the only rotating boat lift on the planet. Head out to explore the islands on Loch Lomond or take a cruise across the gleaming waters. Adults can pop into the Glengoyne Distillery for a behind the scenes look at how fine whiskey ends up in your glass. The campsite welcomes tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Guests can pick from grass and hardstanding plots with and without electric hookups. Glamping units and caravan storage are also available. Pets welcome.
