For a high standard, family-friendly camping experience, pack your bags and mosey over to the Anchorage Caravan Park, ideally placed for exploring Mid and South Wales plus Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains. The ideal living environment is only preceded by the magnificent views of the nearby Black Mountains, which seem to change hue depending on the light and weather conditions. There are a hundred touring pitches, of which sixty come with electric hookups. There is a slight slope on one of the touring fields and jaw-dropping elevated views to offset any inconvenience. A range of excellent facilities ensures guests have the creature comforts of a home away from home. There is a well-stocked groceries shop for stocking up on camping essentials, a launderette, two well-maintained toilet blocks and a TV room for days the weather refuses to acknowledge you’re on holiday. A spacious children’s area is perfect for the rambunctious nippers to release pent-up energy, and the swish site even features a post office and a hairdresser. There is a bus stop just outside the park for adventures further afield sans the car. Anchorage Caravan Park enjoys a handy position between the lively market towns of Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, affording easy access to a wealth of local amenities and attractions. Pets most welcome.
