Set on the fringes of the pretty village of Aberdaron, Mynydd Mawr Camping Site is a friendly, family-owned site placed in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on the very tip of the Llyn Peninsula, the site looks out over Bardsey Island which is said to be the home of twenty-thousand saints. Settle in for a delightful stay at this remote site and savour magnificent isolation as you take in the rugged sceneries, listen to the sound of waves lapping the shore, and observe birds and other wildlife that call this pristine corner of Wales home. The site is incredibly peaceful, and the relaxed atmosphere on-site is sure to melt the stress of modern life, so come on by and enjoy a well-earned holiday. Bakeries, cafes, takeaways and an inviting sandy beach are all within a one and a half-mile distance from Mynydd Mawr. The buzzing market town of Pwllheli is an ideal place to stock up on camping essentials and holds a market each Wednesday. The lively seaside village of Abersoch is a great place to explore a heady mix of designer stores and watersports. Outdoorsy types can take on explores into Snowdonia National Park while surfers can catch a wave at the famed Hells Mouth Bay. The site welcomes tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Dogs welcome.
