Llechrwd Riverside Campsite

The small, family-run Llechrwd Riverside Campsite rests within the stunning landscape of Snowdonia National Park. It is a wonderfully peaceful, picturesque campsite on the sparkling river Dwyryd in the spectacularly scenic Vale of Ffestiniog. The camp is the perfect spot for stressed-out city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts to escape into nature and savour a wealth of jaw-dropping sceneries paired with easy access to local attractions and top-notch facilities at the campsite. Wake up to the trills of birdsong and blankets of morning mist cascading over the gentle curves of the peaks that enclose the site. Soak in the beautiful surrounds with a steaming mug of coffee followed by a hearty breakfast. Spend the morning wandering through the lovely wildflower meadow just outside the gates, or use Llechrwd as a base for exploring a wealth of attractions in North Wales. From vintage railways and hikes to beautiful Italianate villages and slate caverns, there’s so much to see and do nearby. Head back to base after an exciting day of sightseeing for a delicious barbeque dinner under a twinkling canopy of stars. The owners offer necessary facilities to ensure the rural atmosphere remains unspoiled: however, the essentials are more than sufficient. There are disabled-friendly toilets, free hot showers, a chemical disposal point, laundry and pot washing area for guests use. Dogs are welcome throughout the year.
