Set well away from the hustle and bustle, Cefn Maelan welcomes tents, caravans, and motorhomes with or without electric hook-ups. Owners Archie and Cath are at hand to give you a warm welcome, and nothing is too much trouble for this delightful duo! Once you’ve checked where you can pitch a tent or set up your camper, the owners are more than happy to let you set about arranging your plot to your tastes. The site facilities are immaculate and kept sparkling clean. Communal amenities include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water points and access to a shop, bar and restaurant which are all under a five-mile radius from the park. Sit back and soak in the spectacular sceneries which are nothing short of impressive even on a rainy day. Owner Archie’s sheep graze in the enclosing fields which create a genuinely picture-postcard setting with the background of the rolling hills. If you can tear yourself from the site, follow the meandering footpath down to into the lively town of Dolgellau across fertile fields and through a delightful wooded area near a sparkling stream bubbling over rocks and branches. Pets are welcome.
