We hired Alfred for Camp Bestival and couldnt have been happier with our choice. Hes a beautiful 1973 VW T2 with bags of character, and driving him was as much a part of the adventure as the festival itself.Despite being over 50 years old, Alfred was reliable throughout the weekend and surprisingly comfortable to drive once Id got used to the classic gearbox. If youre expecting modern car performance, youll miss the point Alfred encourages you to slow down, enjoy the scenery and embrace the journey.The original 1973 interior is a real highlight and gives the camper an authentic retro feel without compromising on practicality. The pop-top provides plenty of headroom, and the drive-away awning was invaluable, giving us extra living space and somewhere to escape when the weather inevitably changed.Alfred attracted smiles, waves and conversations everywhere we went. We lost count of the number of people who stopped to admire him or share memories of the VW camper they once owned.If youre looking for a classic camper with genuine personality rather than something over-modernised, Alfred is a fantastic choice. He made our weekend unforgettable, and wed happily hire him again.

We had such an amazing weekend away in Alfred He is in incredible condition with so many amenities tucked away. Deany was so helpful showing us all around him, letting us have a test drive and excellent communication throughout. We would definitely recommend Thank you so much

Deany and Matthew were very helpful and Alfred was in exceptional condition. We enjoyed our weekend in him very much and would definitely recommend. The van was very well kitted out and had everything we needed.Life goes at a much slower pace in Alfred and its worth taking that bit of extra time sometimes

I had a fab trip with Alfred for 3 weeks, touring all around Somerset. The booking process was super easy and the owners were so accommodating and friendly with my questions and special requests.
